Molting
Ehren reports the painting has begun. Gloss paint is designed so that nothing will stick to it. In order to apply a new layer of paint to the bus Ehren (currently still out in Wisconsin whilst I sit in Boston) has to sand down that beautifully glossly, school-bus yellow finish. Thanks to a power sander, one side is complete.
The Home Depot paint specialist warned that under no circumstances would we want to use house paint on this. Imagine a bus shaped piece of paint flying toward your windshield after shearing from the bus infront of you. Not pleasant.
Automotive paint costs about $100 a gallon. Ehren went with Acryllic.
